Alpha House operates
in the true spirit of the broader community. As a responsible and respected member of the local health
care community, we share our experience with drug-free treatment methods
with other professionals in the field.
Our staff also attends workshops given by other professionals to
learn about what their agencies and institutions are doing that might
help our residents.
As a responsible
member of the local community at large, our staff and residents speak to
area middle and high school students about the dangers and consequences
of substance abuse. Our
residents assist local churches and agencies by providing manual labor
to help them with their special events and moves.
Furthermore, Alpha
House tries to be a good neighbor by keeping our grounds clean, neat and
well-manicured.
